Stacie
Logue Artist Statement
Through my
artwork I convey my connection to and respect for our Mother Earth. My
artwork is also a tool to communicate the importance of stewardship of
our planet by honoring it. My current series is dedicated to our earthly
spirits: trees. They are represented as moon dancers. Tree people have
been a lyrical image in my art and they continue to appear. As we know,
trees are an important contributor to providing us a balanced &
beautiful environment. The energy of the
moon has intrigued me for a long time so I have combined my dancing
trees and the power of the moon. The dancers express a joy for the moon
and its cycle. In keeping with
my ecological sensibility, my images are painted on recycled brown paper
bags. Most of the acrylic paint was cast offs from my artist friends. I
have painted the support with gesso to give the sky lunar luminosity. I
will also be donating a portion of the sales to Go Zero, a tree
planting program through the National Conservancy Fund.

want to help people.” She is most certainly sharing those pure and
sincere desires in her artwork today.Originally from
Pasadena California, Stacie now resides in the eclectic Ventura beach
community of Pierpont. She received her BA in Fine Arts and she has
beautifully applied that knowledge to her Inner Light that guides her
creativity. Stacie’s wit, compassion and unbridled belief in the
connectedness of us all shines through her work.Socially and
politically conscious with deep embracement of peace and harmony,
